
Craig started his minor hockey career with the Mon Valley Thunder in the club’s inaugural 1986-87 season. After several years as one of the area’s top players, he went on to play in the Michigan National League as a member of the Pittsburgh Hornets. After his playing career, Albert coached his former high school team for three seasons starting in 2014 when he led the Baldwin Highlanders to an Open Cup Championship in his first season and a Penguin Cup AA semifinal appearance 2 years later before coming over to Mon Valley. Craig has been our organization’s power skating coach and director of coaching/player development since 2020. In 2022, Black Bear Sports Group and cfsbank Event Center hired Coach Albert as hockey director at their facility where he now coaches and instructs some of the area’s top players.

Frank played his youth hockey for the Mon Valley Thunder in the 1990's. He went on to play 4 years of Division II football at Mercyhurst University. Frank is currently the President of the Mon Valley Thunder Youth Association and oversees Hockey Operations for the cfsbank Event Center. Frank has served as a head & assistant coach for multiple teams within the Thunder's Coed & Girls programs. Frank will serve as the Head Coach for the 2026 PIHL Girls High School South East team. Frank is a Level 4 certified USA Hockey coach. Frank is also a head coach for the Monessen Youth Baseball Association.

Boone began his hockey journey with the Fayette Firebirds before playing at Saint Vincent College. With 20 years of coaching experience, he started at Burrell High School and Greater Latrobe, later becoming deeply involved with the Fayette Area Youth Hockey Association (FAYHA) as a coach from 8U to 14U levels. Additionally, he contributed to Greensburg Salem's youth program and served as Head Coach for Connellsville Falcons Middle School and Junior Varsity Teams. Jason's leadership extends beyond coaching, as he has served on FAYHA's Executive Board in various roles, including ADM Coordinator, VP, and President. In addition to his involvement with school teams, Jason has also led various spring and summer hockey teams, as well as tournament teams, showcasing his commitment to developing players across different seasons and competitive settings. His dedication has left a lasting impact on players and the community, embodying the values of commitment and passion for hockey.
